Marie Haddad is piano-based singer-songwriter. It’s been written that she has a voice that “can hold your attention whatever she is singing” (North County Times), and a songwriting and piano style described as “somewhere between Kate Bush and Leonard Cohen” (San Diego Downtown News). Atwood Magazine described her as “a shape-shifter, constantly moving and changing, trying new styles and creating new worlds through music”, and called her newest album “the artist’s most diverse”. Haddad’s music has appeared on several national television shows, most recently for the second time on Lifetime’s Dance Moms. Honored with nominations in years past for Best Singer-Songwriter at the San Diego Music Awards, this year Haddad’s newly-released album, Stories from Atlantis, took home the San Diego Music Award for Best Pop Album of 2018.
